Almost every category packed with Puppy nominees was voted No Award, by an enormous margin.
Tobias Buckell put together a list of what the nominees might have looked like without interference, and there’s some pretty great things on it that might have gotten an award, or at least have been of a quality worthy of one. Some sad losses there.
