Abandoned Olympics Venues

The creepy pics of abandoned Olympics venues are worth at least one thousand words each. Many of the cities that prepare for the Olympics will spend so much money in an attempt to really make themselves look good while the entire world is watching. Then the world is not watching any more, and everything else can falter. Maintaining some of the facilities that are literally olympconstructed just in time for the Olympics is often too expensive for cities to maintain even if that is what they wanted.

Since it is very unlikely that they are going to be able to host the Olympics there again any time soon, there is really no point in maintaining the Olympics venues anyway. The creepy pics of abandoned Olympics venues manage to really hammer home that point, showing just how extensive the preparation for the Olympics really was, and the kind of toll that it takes on an area afterwards. Abandoned Olympics venues are more frightening than almost all ghost towns could even manage to be, which is perhaps how cities can start to make money off of them again. They could always sell tickets to the abandoned Olympics venues, allowing people to really get a sense of the wages of the Olympics.

If people did get tickets to see the site of the Athens, 2004 Summer Olympics, they would be greeted to the sight of an enormous pool that was filled with sludge. They would see stadiums that are in the process of being reclaimed by the natural world, and stadiums that have already been reclaimed by the natural world.

Of course, the Athens Summer Olympics site dates back to the earlier twenty-first century, and it can never hope to compete with the Sarajevo, 1984 Winter Olympics site. People will see all sorts of venues there that will manage to recall the documentary series Life After People, with all of the signs of natural succession in place. Some of the areas actually do look like graveyards, which seems strangely appropriate and which truly does make the areas seem as haunting as the typical ghost towns that people will visit. Some of the pictures from the Sarajevo, 1984 Winter Olympics sites truly do seem like they were taken after the apocalypse from the future. It’s hard to imagine how the area would look any different in the event of a real apocalypse.

When people go to websites like the Royal Vegas online casino in order to bet on the Olympics, they are usually not thinking about images like these. They are thinking about how they could go to the Royal Vegas online casino or similar websites in order to win enough money that they might be able to go to the nicer parts of Athens, among other things. However, the warm and friendly environment of sports betting really does not paint the entire picture of the Olympics. If people really do want to feel as if they truly know the Olympics, they need to see creepy pics of abandoned Olympics venues.
