Jess Brightwell and friends are back for #3 in The Great Library series.
Jess and his friends are now all exiles–and they’re trapped in Philadelphia, a Burner stronghold. The Burners are a group that wants to end the Library’s stranglehold on the world’s knowledge, and they’re willing to burn what books they can find rather than submit to Library rule.
The group has the knowledge and plans for a machine that could change the world, and end the library’s tyranny, but can they barter that knowledge for their lives?
Ash and Quill is the next installment in the Great Library series, and it lives up to the first two admirably. I do really like this series, it’s a dystopia that’s different and interesting. The characters are a diverse lot, and they all have strengths and weaknesses that provide for a compelling group of characters. Well worth picking up. If you haven’t read the first two, they’re a must read.

She is working on her own fiction, and spends time making jewelry to sell at local conventions, as well as stalking the social media accounts of all your favorite writers.
