An app to help you find great beer. Okay!
It is now London Beer Week 2018. For its fourth year, the festival has gone digital, with a brand new DrinkUp.London app, ensuring that the places to visit are right in the palm of your hand. The boozy public spoke and the people at London Beer Week listened, so this year’s LBW is bringing it back to where it all began, choosing the bars and taprooms that make the city such a great beer-drinking place. Festival Pass holders can access £5 beer flights or boilermakers all week long at cherry-picked partner bars across the city. Each flight is specially curated by knowledgeable staff to showcase a unique aspect of brewing – be it the style, ingredients or heritage.
Festival Director, Ali Dedianko says, “We are glad to be taking LBW back to its roots by celebrating the incredible
venues that make London one of the world’s truly great beer-drinking cities. Dozens of new breweries have opened their doors around the capital this year and there has never been a more exciting time to be celebrating beer.” To be fair, it is always a good time to celebrate the warm and nourishing beer that gets us through the winter.
London Beer Week 2018 will also feature events such as beer pairing dinners, brewery tours, launch parties, and in-bar promotions – beer lovers across the capital can find out more about the festival and purchase tickets for all events online at DrinkUp.London.
