Well, we’ve got two new Pokemon games incoming! To help celebrate Pokemon’s twentieth anniversary (!), which is today, Nintendo announced Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are coming to the 3DS this holiday season.
Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are going to be playable in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, and traditional and simplified Chinese (since China’s finally letting video games be a thing in their country).
Pokemon Red, Pokemon Blue, and Pokemon Yellow will be available to purchase on the 3DS Virtual Console individually. A new feature added to those versions will be the ability to upload your Pokemon in those three games, upload them to Pokemon Bank (which stores your Pokemon in the cloud and costs $4.99 annually), and then bring them into Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon.
If you want to watch the Nintendo Direct…directly, you can watch it below. It’s short and the opening is pretty cool.
I like video games. Talk to me about video games and I'll never shut up. Anything else? Yeah, you're probably on your own.
