PCB’s Gift Guide for Geeks: Lovecraft Edition

There’s a lot of cool stuff out there for fans of Lovecraft’s tales of the Great Old Ones. Here’s a few:

words

For the card and board gamers in your life, there’s Unspeakable Words. It’s a really fun card game where you have to spell words, score points, and try to keep your sanity. I love this one. It gets really fun when you’re down to one little cthulhu statue sanity point–that’s when you get to make up your words entirely.

The Deluxe version sells for $59.99, and comes with all kinds of extra pawns and cooler dice.

arkham

For those who like to smell interesting, there’s this scent from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, called ‘Arkham’. BPAL makes really wonderful oil scents, they tend to last all day, and they’re wonderfully layered. In my experience, you gradually smell all the little components throughout the day as the oils blend with your own body chemistry. They’re really great, and they have great scents for everyone.

Arkham is described as: A shadowy, unapproachable forest of maple, birch, dogwood, cypress and pine softened by a garland of New England wildflowers: bergamot, columbine, rue anemone, blue violet, creeping phlox, bloodroot, toadflax, and pixie moss.

It sells for $17.50 on Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab’s website.

misc-4 misc-1 misc-2 misc-3

Another Badali one for the list, because they have so many fandom tie in pieces and they’re all wonderful. Badali has impeccable quality.

Their Miskatonic University class ring is $124 in silver at the Badali website.

cthulu-plush

ToyVault makes a series of Cthulhu plush toys that are pretty cool. They’ve got everything from a superhero cthulhu to a summer vacation cthulhu, but the best is probably the original cthulhu plush. I’ve had mine riding with me in my car for ages.

ToyVault has them up on Amazon.
