Vice Principals

Vice Principals is the latest comedy on HBO. It’s incredibly over the top and ridiculous, but what would you expect from Danny McBride and Jody Hill (creators of HBO’s Eastbound & Down)?

Vice Principals

Starring Danny McBride and Walton Goggins as the titular Vice Principals who are vying for the top spot: to be school principal. But when new rival Dr. Belinda Brown (Kimberly Hébert Gregory) enters the picture, these bitter antagonists must form an unholy alliance to bring down the outsider by any means necessary.

Also featuring Georgia King, Busy Phillips, Shea Whigham, Sheaun McKinney and guest stars Bill Murray and Susan Park, the new comedy series was a critical and audience hit this summer on HBO. Heralded by Rolling Stone as “the summer’s best new comedy,” Vice Principals is a “must watch” (Entertainment Weekly) series for Eastbound & Down fans and comedy lovers alike.

Vice Principals shows what happens when adults act worse than the children at their school. The performances from the cast are hilarious and their chemistry is amazing. The ten episodes will have you rolling with laughter. Anyone who has experienced a work rivalry can absolutely relate.

I will say that some of the episodes seem very far-fetched from the way the Vice Principals talk to the kids to burning down someone’s house, some of these moments take me out of the show that would be funnier if it were set in more of a real setting.

All in all it is a very funny show and I’m excited for season 2 to start next year. In the meantime, Vice Principals Season One is available now on Digital HD.

Vice Principals is an 8 out of 10 Stars!
