Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington has passed away at the age of 41. His body was discovered today, the victim of an apparent suicide. You can go elsewhere if you need more details than that.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to his family and friends.
His words and his voice meant a lot to millions of people. He spoke to a lot of people’s pain and gave voice to emotions so many were dealing with. This is a devastating loss. His message and his words will live on through his music.
I was lucky enough to see Linkin Park twice. Chester was one of the most dynamic and powerful performers I’ve ever had the privilege to see perform. He and his art will be sorely missed.
Thank you for the music.
To all of those out there feeling alone, feeling like you can’t go on:
You are not alone, please don’t give up.
