Lucifer Recap: Deceptive Little Parasite
Lucifer, Amenadiel, and Mother discuss using the Flaming Sword to go home, but Lucifer needs to be angry enough to change Azrael’s blade into the flaming sword. Not sure I like where that might go…
He sees Dr. Linda to try and learn how to control his emotions, but of course Dr. Linda isn’t going to just give him an easy answer.
Chloe is still trying to figure out how to deal with her feelings on the whole Lucifer thing–he’s newly divorced, but things are still weird.
They get a new case, and one of the people they interview says the school they’re investigating has a pillar on emotional self control. Of course, Lucifer wants to learn.
Setting the sword on fire
Mother tries to incite lust in Lucifer by getting three Decker look alikes to seduce him, thinking that might ignite other feelings that could get the sword flaming (and erection jokes abound). He sees right through it, and doesn’t appreciate it.
Instead, he thinks maybe having children would do it? O.o
He takes Trixie on a tour of the school posing as a parent trying to enroll his kid. He gets busted, of course. Chloe finds out that Trixie has been worried about her.
They also catch the murderer–one of the kids in the class shares his drawing of his mother stabbing the victim. Or so they think.
Mother tries to mug Lucifer to make him afraid–of course, it doesn’t work.
Maze to the rescue?
Chloe goes to the school to look for more suspects, and the school is considering Trixie for admission. Maze goes with her to have her back, posing as…her wife?
Lucifer is getting suspicious over how eager Mother is to get home.
Chloe and Maze spread a rumor that Chloe has DNA evidence in her car in order to trap the killer. They find out that the teacher in charge of the whole feelings bit is the killer.
Trixie decides not to go to the fancy school.
Oh, Mother…
Lucifer admits he doesn’t intend to go back to heaven–he wants to open the gates and toss Mother in. He hopes her and Father will punish each other for hurting him. He then channels his pain into the knife, and it becomes the sword…but only for a minute. Mother thinks he’s not trying hard enough. I hate to think what she might do in her desperation to get home.
We find out why she wants to go home so badly–apparently, her human body is deteriorating. She lifts a band aid, and a small wound on her wrist shows light shining from it.
